As the embryo develops in the womb and passes several stages in its development, multifarious hormones’ secretion affects physiological and physical state of the woman also affecting the breast in this process; there is an increase in size of the woman’s breast which would start producing milk after birth of child. Neurological development of a child
There are multifarious proteins in breast milk which have been detected with unique benefits. Studies have shown that children that are fed only breast milk for at least 6 months and fed breast milk and other food formula for at least 1 year tend to have higher IQ than those that were not. Antibodies in breast milk specifically secretory IgA antibody fights off diseases that could affect child. Secretory IgA lines the wall of the mucous membrane in the ear, intestine, nose, thus preventing infection. This may be the reason why children that are properly breast fed tend not to have ear infection, asthma as they grow. Those children breast fed have lower risk of having type 2 diabetes, childhood leukemia, childhood obesity, childhood cancer and above all prevent sudden infant death syndrome.
Children fed with formula feed might even have diarrhea but those breast fed don’t usually develop diarrhea. In addition, it has been shown that not breast feeding can cause ulcerative colitis and Crohn’s disease.

Breast milk has water, fat, protein, carbohydrate, vitamins and so many pertinent and good nutrients in it, all in their right proportion. Though, vitamin D is not enough in breast milk and should be given as supplement. Brest milk is a free source of good nutrition for the baby and you don’t need to be measuring formula feed together for the body which is not easily digestible compared to breast milk.
